$150 Affiliate Bonus Announcement

I think it’s time for another Affiliate Contest, how about you?

On my affiliate Training Show this morning we had a great group of affiliates sharing information with one another.  Heck I was able to sit back and be taught by so many of you.  It was really neat.

You can watch the replay here:

I announced on the show that I wanted an Affiliate contest for the month of Aug. I am going to give an Extra $150 to an affiliate who can Give away 50 Free DVD’s or 50 Mp3 players. It can be a combination of both. Heck let’s just say for every 50 customers that successfully sign up in Aug. I will pay you $150. :)

I will let you track it yourself, and when you get your 50 just send me an email at:
bcoppieters@dotcomsecrets . I will then immediately send out your payment via Pay Pal or cut you a check that day!!!

Just another way that we Hook You Up at DotComSecrets.. :)

Until next time- Stay Fit and Have Fun!!! :)

Good basic information. Tackling questions about commission and fulfillment glitches adds to your perceived honesty.

One problem with DotCom Secrets is that folks that sign up for one forced continuity program cannot get the next promotion’s benefits. For example: how does someone already receiving the newsletter get the content of the MP3 player without signing up for two newsletters?

A way to fix this would be to make all the content available for members to download.

Otherwise, some smart folks might quit the continuity program ahead of each launch so that they could sign up for the upcoming promotion. And, they probably wouldn’t miss any newsletters, either.

Another issue: How many sales are lost for affiliates because cookies on their computers are erased? My antivirus program erases cookies each night when the system is scanned. Other people may receive a warning that a cookie is being set, and can choose to accept it or not.

When someone receives a warning that a cookie is being set, they might think that this is a virus warning, and leave the site.

One bit of information that would be incredibly valuable to affiliates would be “pass-around” referral tracking. It would be useful to know how many “cookie switches” are made before a prospect buys. For example: The prospect visits your promotion from Affiliates A, B, C and D before buying. (We know that people need to see the offer up to seven times.) The visit pattern might look like this…

A, B, C, A, C, B, D…

With D, coming on late being credited for the sale. Sure, A’s, B’s and C’s persuasion wasn’t good enough, or their persuasion contributed to D making the sale.

This kind of data would help Affiliates decide which products to promote, and this kind of data would help product owners shape their offers to the next level.

Brent, thanks for the post. IM on it today with a piece in my Examiner.com/Columbia Internet marketing column. I’ll write it on micro-continuity programs, Russell and link in the offer. I was nto able to make the training show so I’ll catch the re-run.

Thanks,
