Are You Missing A Step?

We had a great training call on Monday. I was able to grab Russell Brunson to be on our Monday Morning Training call for another “Ask Russell Anything” call. It turned out great. I received a ton of questions to ask Russell, and we had affiliates asking Russell questions live on the call. If you missed it, don’t be discouraged because you can listen to it here.

On the call Russell gave some awesome ideas for our affiliates how to better create pages that will help sell products. He was asked on the call, if he had to start all over again what would he do. He said he would do 3 things.

1. Get an autoresponder set up

2. Create a squeeze page

3. Get traffic to the squeeze page.

As one of our affiliates, are you missing one of these steps? If you have not created a squeeze page for yourself, you are really missing an important step. For most of our affiliates driving traffic seems to be the biggest challenge. I receive comments from frustrated affiliates who have created their page, but can’t get anyone to the page.

To those affiliates I ask what are they doing currently to drive traffic? Are they writing articles? Are they posting to a blog? Are they participating in niche focused forums? Have they contacted others for a Joint Venture??? Russell talked about the importance in creating joint ventures. Don’t try and go after the “Big Dogs”, just find others who are already building a list in your niche. Do they have complementary products?

Matt Bacak was being interviewed, and he talked about setting goals. He said, Don’t set a goal to make one million dollars. Set a goal to make one dollar, then ten dollars, then one thousand, and so forth. He said it took a lot of time to get to one hundred thousand, but after he did that; one million wasn’t so difficult.

Be patient, and keep working.
