Well I am about to head to the Great White North for a few days. It will be fun to spend time with family and friends. You can follow my travels by joining our Dotcomsecrets Affiliate Group on Facebook.  I will update you on what I am up to.

While I am gone, I wanted to run a little promotion.  Last week I sent 4 $50 iTunes gift cards to 4 lucky winners.  These individuals had at least 5 sales of Self-Improvement-Millionaires.com. Thank you to them and everyone else who participated.  I called the 4 winners and congratulated them.  The cards are in the mail as we speak.

So for this promotion I want to do something even more fun!  We are going to have a little contest I like to call- “Affiliates Rule”.  Russell doesn’t know this yet, but he and I are going to have a little bet. He just jumped on an airplane heading to the NCAA College Wrestling Championships.  It was a surprise gift for his Birthday from his wife.

* I am betting Russell that our DCS Affiliates Can and Will sell more Self-Improvement-Millionaires over the next 4 days than him.

So here is the Deal: Russell is going to send out an email to his list promoting Self Improvement Millionaires, I am going to start tracking affiliate sales of SIM starting the same time the email goes out. Let’s say Starting Tomorrow (Thursday March 18th 2010).

What will you get if Affiliates win? I will add an extra 15% to your commissions.  That’s 65% Commission on both the initial sale and OTO.

So when you get a SIM sale you will earn $323.05 on the initial sale and $193.05 on the OTO.  That’s potentially $516.10 per sale if they take the OTO as well. :)  This is awesome!

What will Russell get if Wins? He will save the 15% ($178.50 per sale and OTO) and I will send him and his wife to dinner and will watch their 3 kids.  YIKES!!!

Thanks so much for helping promote Micro Continuity!  It was one of our Most Successful Product Launches EVER!!!

It sold so well because it WORKS.  Everyday people are getting online businesses up and running.  It really is so encouraging to hear all the success stories.

Thanks so much for all your comments on this blog.  It is so cool to hear from so many affiliates who are making their first sales.  They now know without a doubt that Affiliate Marketing really DOES work.

We have had some great questions from affiliates- thanks so much for your questions and comments.

I have seen a few comments from affiliates who see the affiliate standings and are frustrated as they can’t compete with some of the “Big Boys”.  All of those successful marketers started where you are.  Don’t worry about “competing” and focus on getting some sales.  If you stick with it, and continue to learn- you will be able to compete with them.

We have prizes at different levels that you can win.  Set a realistic goal and work towards that goal.

We want to really start building the excitement for this launch.

Also, just a heads up. I will not be doing an affiliate training show for the next few weeks. Monday the 18th I will not be in the office (my 7th year anniversary) 25th Memorial Day, and June 1st in Florida for the Rich and Russell workshop.
