First off- YES- We have an upcoming Affiliate promotion coming up.

What Have I been up to?

Here is some info. from the last 2 weeks! 

It has been a pretty crazy last few weeks.  We hosted a workshop in our office and then Russell and I took off to Chicago to attend the Glazer-Kennedy Super Conference.

First off- the workshop was awesome.  We had attendees from all over attend this one day workshop.  Russell trained all day about Micro Continuity programs.  This topic is really going to change the way people are selling information products on the internet.  It’s the “easiest” process that I have ever seen that helps anyone get a product online in the least amt. of time.

Then two days  after the workshop, Russell and I jumped on a plane to Chicago.  When we arrived, Russell wanted to buy a new laptop so we were able to see “Downtown” Chicago as we headed to the Apple Store.  As Boise doesn’t have an official Apple store- this was my first experience in one.  SUPER Cool!!! Heck downtown Chicago seemed really cool.  Might have to plan a trip back.

The Super Conference was awesome!  I had a great time visiting with so many other successful entrepreneurs.  Russell spoke on Friday teaching the audience about Micro Continuity.  He really did AWESOME and we were bombarded with people wanting to get their hands on the training.

I was able to try Morton’s Steakhouse while in Chicago.  Ever since Joel Comm posted something on twitter I have wanted to go, so I finally got my chance.  It was the BEST meal that i have ever had! (and most expensive…)  Really had a great time.

Wow- It’s 2009. Can you believe it?  Where the heck did 2008 go?

My family and I had a great Christmas, and I hope that you did too.

This is going to be quick and short.  This morning I had Russell on an “Ask Russell Anything” training Show.  It was really fantastic.  Russell was energized and answering our affilaites questions.  He shared ways for affiliates to make money.  He also shared a prediction for affiliate marketing in 2009.

The other day I was talking to one of our affiliates and something occurred to me.

Why do we over complicate things?  We think that Affiliate Marketing is so hard- when it really isn’t.

Take for example our Zero to $100 Million Dollar Challenge that is going on right now. Just by telling someone about the contest, and having them go and register YOU earn $1.  When THEY get someone to sign up under them YOU get $.05.

On our training show yesterday I had Russell as my special guest.  We had several people telling us how they had already made $100 in commissions.  How cool is that?

Russell even suggested promoting the contest to family or friends who don’t quite understand what you are doing.  They can learn about affiliate marketing and Internet Marketing in general.  Heck you could combine your efforts for the contest, and build your online business together.

We had tons of Q & A during this Training Show- and Russell gave some great suggestions on how to make money as an affiliate by promoting the contest.

Well on Monday, I am going to have a special guest.  His name is Chris Sandberg, and he actually works for us.  He has travelled all over the world working online, and helping businesses get their sites optimized.  He is our SEO guru, and I have him for 30 minutes to talk to you about your affiliate blogs, and landing pages.  He actually helped set this blog up for me.

Wow has it been a busy week. It has been so great getting ready for our upcoming launch of Affiliate Evolution.

Even though these launches are pretty stressful, they really are so exciting. I get to touch base with so many affiliates, and reconnect with other Joint Venture Partners. Without awesome people helping with this launch it wouldn’t be possible. On Wednesday we started our Pre-launch which consists of live training by Russell. On the first day we had over 550 watching and participating in the live show. We have a couple more live trainings before the actual launch on Tuesday May 27th.

Wow, I feel like we have absolutely “evolved” in our training! We are now training live right in front of your eyes!!! You can have your questions and comments responded to live during the call.

Hey Everyone!

Can I tell you how nice it is to be home? For those of you who travel for work, I am sorry. We (Russell Brunson, Tom Rich and I) just got home from a 6 day trip, that took us from Boise to Atlanta, Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale (Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton), and Fort Lauderdale to Boise. We met hundreds of people, and completed a project that will push our business to the NEXT level.

Big Seminar

We had a great time at Armand Morin’s Big Seminar. We visited with marketing friends and affiliates during the 3 day event. As usual Armand takes great care of the attendees. Lunches, snacks and dinners were AMAZING! The networking was so cool with the chance to interact with some of the most successful people in this industry. The speakers were Matt Bacak, Jim Edwards, Ray Edwards, Frank Kern, Eric Graham, Brett McFall, Tom Hua, Armand Morin and Mike Stewart. All of these men, are leaving huge footprints in the industry. I have notes in my binder from each of the speakers, and was able to share with them all the cool things we have been doing.

I have to give a big shout out to Ray Edwards. He has always impressed me, but he doubly impressed me when he mentioned to me that he regularly reads this blog.!!

Frank Kern really amazed me. This was the first time I have had the opportunity to meet him and hear him in person. He is a SMART GUY! A couple points that he made are:

Step 1: Find a Rabid Market- like Internet Marketing.

Step 2: Find out what they want- Create an”Ask” Campaign (www.askdatabase.com)

Step 3: Sell them EXPENSIVE stuff

For those of you who I met, it was fun!

Infomercial Filming

You read that right. We were in Florida filming an infomercial. The night before filming Russell had an idea about how cool it would be to film “Behind The Scenes”. So I grabbed a friend of ours who was there (Dave Woodward: www.legendarymarketers.com) and headed to Walmart at 1 am. I purchased a Flip video camera and was able to film over an hour of video clips during the shooting of the infomercial. Russell did terrific and we had a great time. Russell took us all out to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse… WOW it was AMAZING! They had to wheel me out of there!

We were home at last on Thursday afternoon. We were all so exhausted, but really had an awesome time. It was so nice to see our beautiful wives and kids…

Upcoming Contest
