What Have I been up to?

Here is some info. from the last 2 weeks! 

It has been a pretty crazy last few weeks.  We hosted a workshop in our office and then Russell and I took off to Chicago to attend the Glazer-Kennedy Super Conference.

First off- the workshop was awesome.  We had attendees from all over attend this one day workshop.  Russell trained all day about Micro Continuity programs.  This topic is really going to change the way people are selling information products on the internet.  It’s the “easiest” process that I have ever seen that helps anyone get a product online in the least amt. of time.

Then two days  after the workshop, Russell and I jumped on a plane to Chicago.  When we arrived, Russell wanted to buy a new laptop so we were able to see “Downtown” Chicago as we headed to the Apple Store.  As Boise doesn’t have an official Apple store- this was my first experience in one.  SUPER Cool!!! Heck downtown Chicago seemed really cool.  Might have to plan a trip back.

The Super Conference was awesome!  I had a great time visiting with so many other successful entrepreneurs.  Russell spoke on Friday teaching the audience about Micro Continuity.  He really did AWESOME and we were bombarded with people wanting to get their hands on the training.

I was able to try Morton’s Steakhouse while in Chicago.  Ever since Joel Comm posted something on twitter I have wanted to go, so I finally got my chance.  It was the BEST meal that i have ever had! (and most expensive…)  Really had a great time.

Today I wrote my article for next month’s DotComSecrets Newsletter. I was asked to write about how to create Joint Ventures. As I have quite a bit of experience in this area, it was a fun article to write. I thought today that I would share with you some of my article. Instead of working like crazy by yourself trying to sell your product or service, what if you could get some people on board to help promote and sell your product or service? Doesn’t that sound pretty good?

Most of you know what I am talking about. You have worked hard creating a product or service that you know is going to help a tremendous amount of people only to find that selling it, can be somewhat frustrating. If you are feeling this way, you are not alone. Discouragement sets in and you want to quit.

Well I am here today to share with you a system that can help you find others who can help you sell your product or service. They are forming Joint Ventures.

What is a joint venture? Dictionary.com defines a Joint Venture as: a business enterprise in which two or more companies enter a temporary partnership. Some examples of online joint ventures are:
1. You have the product and form a Joint Venture with another marketer who has a large list to help in promoting your product.
2. You have a product idea, but need money to help finance your project?
3. You collaborate with another marketer in producing a product or service.
A Joint Venture again is a temporary working relationship that you form with another party.
You and the other party would define the working relationship, and compensation…”
